Friends, a new look, new bots and a faster game

  • FriendsTap Social to see your friends, where each one is playing, and your friend requests. Add a friend from their row in the room, during a game or on the results.
  • Invite a friendFrom Social, invite a friend to play in your room or to watch your game. They get a notice with Join or Watch.
  • A whole new lookEvery screen is rebuilt: the menu, the lobby, the board and the desks. It is much quicker on phones.
  • Meet the BotBots now trade with you, run a shop of deals you can browse, and buy bonds and stocks. The old bots are still there under Classic bots (old).
  • Trades in one windowNew trade, Pending and History sit together. Tap a player's row to start a trade, or turn on the before and after numbers for each round.
  • Houses stay with their setA property can't be traded while any property of its colour set has houses. The screen tells you why.
  • Your bond in one tapOpen or close your bond from the Lend screen. Bond payment notices go only to the players who pay or receive them, and no longer cover the desk buttons.
  • Play againAfter a game, Lobby takes you back to the same room, with the same code and chat. Everyone else can stay on the results as long as they like.
  • Watch without a seatWatch a game without taking a seat; Spectators shows who is watching. Watchers don't use up seats, so the host can fill every seat with bots. When every seat is taken, Take a seat is greyed and says why. If the host leaves, the next player becomes the host.
  • Report and BlockTap ⋯ on any player's row to report or block them, in the room or in the game. A player you block shows as Blocked.
  • No time limitA room can turn the turn timer off: Settings, then Table, then Turn timer.
  • Charts and the DashboardThe Dashboard shows every chart at once, with every player in their own colour. Tap a player's badge to light up their properties.
  • Sounds and tipsNew game sounds, with volume and an "Only the important ones" choice in Settings. A "?" next to each game term explains it.
  • Smoother playTokens glide around the board, the property card always fits on short phones, and a new room starts with auctions off.
  • FixesWhat's new opens properly from the menu, on phones and computers.

  • Mistyped lobby codesA code that does not match a lobby now says so on the menu and keeps the code ready to fix, instead of opening an empty page.
  • Clearer sign-in errorsA mistyped email gets "Enter a valid email address" instead of a technical message.
  • Show your passwordThe password fields on Sign In and Sign Up have a Show button, so you can check what you typed.
  • Turning your phone sidewaysThe game is built for portrait. Turn a phone sideways mid-game and it asks you to turn it back, instead of piling the board and buttons on top of each other.
  • Your stock and bond desks, explainedThe Market tab now says what the Open/Closed switches do: they are your own desks, and opening them lets other players invest in you.
  • A tidier Buy buttonBefore you roll, the Buy button no longer names the property from your last turn.
  • Getting startedThe display name is marked as required, and an empty lobby list has a button to create a lobby and play against bots.

Auctions, trades and a clearer board

  • Auctions pause the gameNobody can roll or end their turn until an auction finishes, even with auto-play on.
  • Everyone sees the auctionIt pops up for every player at the table, and takes you out of the trade screen so you never miss one.
  • Skipping a property always goes to auctionEnding your turn or rolling again without buying now starts the auction first, auto-play included.
  • Auction soundsA knock when it opens, one sound for your bid and a different one for a rival's, and a gavel when it closes. The Sound switch mutes them.
  • Your trade draft is keptBack out of a trade you are building and it is exactly as you left it when you come back. Discard starts over.
  • Pop-up settingsA Settings button in the Game panel lets you mute the Chance and Treasure card pop-ups and incoming trade pop-ups. Offers still wait for you in the Trade centre.
  • Pick your colourChoose your colour in the lobby, and see everyone's before the game starts.
  • Clearer country flagsEach property's flag now fills its tile and shows properly on Windows, so colour sets are easy to tell apart.

Free online property trading board game

Invest Up is a free multiplayer board game you play in your web browser. Roll the dice, buy property, build houses and hotels, collect rent and trade with the other players. The last player who is not bankrupt wins. Everything is played with virtual money: nothing in the game is real money or real investing.

Beyond property, the players are a market. You can buy stock in another player, lend to them by buying their bonds, and put contracts, rentals and a share of a colour set's rent into a trade.
